On May 28th, 2021, the Federal Government of Nigeria announced “We’ve paid all N-Power beneficiaries”. “One million beneficiaries will receive cash transfers of N5,000 for six months.

About 14,000 beneficiaries of the Batches A and B who were exited last year were not paid their five–months allowances.

NPower news on permanency: “For the Batch A and B, as you are aware, they have exited and they have been put into programme in partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria for them to be engaged in meaningful employment or trade.”

The Minister also hinted that it will commence the payment of N5,000 each to one million urban workers in the informal sector.

She said: “The Rapid Response Register has been put in place by the Ministry as a shock responsive intervention register specifically targeted at the urban informal workers impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic.

“Now, we have moved to the Batch C. Currently, the Ministry is about concluding the enrollment of 1,000,000 Batch-C applicants in two streams of 500,000 in the first instance and another 500,000 later.

All applicants who are not yet shortlisted for the Verification Stage are kindly advised to take their Examination now so they can be listed for the next Batch.

NPower news update today on Shortlist Batch C

On Wednesday 09 June 2021, the Federal Government of Nigeria shortlisted 550,000 applicants in the NPower Batch C stram 1 to write a recruitment test. From there 500,000 will be finally selected nationwide to serve as the first stream of the N-Power Batch C programme. This is the Batch C1. The second batch of another 500,000 will subsequently be made in line with Mr President’s directive to engage 1,000,000 beneficiaries under the Batch C.”
Information Concerning Batch C Biometric Verification

All shortlisted applicants are requested to immediately enrol their biometric data to qualify for the final selection stage of the N-POWER Batch C (Stream 1) programme

Kindly follow the instructions below;

Login to your dashboard and click the “verification” tab
Click the “capture your fingerprint” button to download and install the enrolment application
After installation, provide the required credentials and click “Proceed”.
Make sure the fingerprint biometric device is connected, then click on “Begin Enrolment” to launch the enrolment process.
Click on the finger to begin the enrolment process
Applicants are to enroll their Right thumb, Right index, Left thumb and Left index fingers only for successful enrolment
After successful enrollment, click on “Submit” to save the biometric enrollment

After successful enrolment, please check the “verification” tab of your self service portal to confirm if the capture was successful.
